Characteristics of Peg 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil

PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil is not seen as an irritant or sensitiser and has been shown to only cause minimal irritation in concentrations up to 100%. PEG 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil allows oil and water to combine and it has a surfactant ability which acts as a cleansing agent, lifting dirt from the skin and hair. Peg 40 has the additional property of being an emollient.

How to use

Simply add at the desired level to your formulation and the Peg 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil will blend with agitation into your water / oil mix.
