Shelf life will depend upon the ingredients you add. Adding oils which quickly go rancid can reduce the life expectancy of the product, whereas adding oils with natural long life can extend the product life further by enhancing the natural preservative system.
A crystal clear and effective foam bath gel developed to solubilise and disperse fragrances, essential oils and colourings with a big Spa bang for bath time.
The primary surfactant is laureth sulfate, the grade used is highly refined and has a low skin irritating potential, this potential is reduced further with the combined use of the foam enhancer and strengthener and the amphoteric betaine. A small amount of sodium chloride is used to adjust the viscosity of this product while the citric acid is used to adjust the pH.
Naturallythinking Bath Foam is an effective foaming bath base capable of holding a high concentration of essential oils and colourings.
Capable of producing high class Spa Foam bath products which disperse essential oils and highly effective in allowing them to be absorbed into the skin for a bathing experience which maximise the effects of essential oils.
Naturallythinking Foam Bath cosmetic base can be used with colourings to enhance presentation.
Blending your Bath Foam base takes some care with essential oils. The pH changes caused by the essential oil can cause either the Bath Foam to go to thick, or to runny.
If this happens, do not panic, simply add a little more Cocamidopropyl betaine if your formula has gone too think. Or Sodium laureth sulfate if your formula has gone too thick. Simply pour and stir.
We advise having a little Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Cocamidopropyl betaine to hand when blending.
If when adding oils the base goes significantly cloudy, you are putting too much in.
The scent will enhance over a couple of days as products always mature after adding oils, so have faith in your blend and do no think you need to add more.
Fragrance oils (as opposed to essential oils) can also be used in our bases, although as we only use natural essential oils we do not sell synthetic Fragrance Oils.

Excellent product works very well with your own scented oils and concentrates. Would buy again. Very thick and provides a good foam/bubbles
This bath foam is super thick and concentrated so it goes a long way. It has a very low self fragrance, so can be used with any scent oil or concentrate without detracting from the fragrance. It's the best bath foam base I have used.
