Thyme essential oil, grown and distilled in the UK at our Surrey Farm. The perfect way to renew your energy and spirit

British Thyme Essential Oil

We grow our Thyme on the Surrey Hills where the chalk soil and abundance of South Facing slopes create the perfect growing conditions for Thyme. We distill and bottle the oil on site for freshess and purity.

Thyme derives from wild thyme, which grows in abundance throughout southern Europe. Thyme has a long, ancient history of medical, food and perfumery use. The stems of the plant reach about eight inches, bearing small elliptical greenish-grey leaves and white or purple/pink flowers.

Characteristics of Thyme Essential Oil

The oil contains compounds such as camphene, cymene, and carvacrol, which have an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect on the body. Thyme essential oil has a few properties that make it useful on your hair, such as being antiseptic, antibacterial, and antifungal which make it an ideal remedy for numerous hair problems. Not only does it help address scalp issues such as dandruff and itchiness, but it also stimulates blood circulation, thereby accelerating hair growth.
