Manuka floral water—also known as New Zealand manuka flower hydrosol—is a natural distillate of the native New Zealand manuka tree, Leptospermum scoparium.
This tree is considered to be one of nature's most powerful plants, thanks to its unique chemical composition. Manuka floral water contains all the beneficial compounds found in the plant itself, including antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.
Skin
Manuka floral water offers numerous benefits for skin health. Its naturally occurring antioxidants help neutralize free radicals which can cause premature aging and wrinkles on our skin. Additionally, it helps restore skin elasticity, reduce inflammation associated with acne breakouts as well as soothe redness caused by sunburns or sensitivity issues. It also helps balance skin tone and improve overall complexion due to its antiseptic properties which can help fight off bacteria that causes blemishes or other skin conditions. Finally, thanks to its high content of vitamins A & E, it can help nourish your skin from within while providing deep hydration for a softer and more radiant look!
Mind
The active ingredient in manuka floral water is methylglyoxal (MGO). MGO is an incredibly potent antioxidant that can help protect the body from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. Along with being an antioxidant, manuka floral water is also known for its calming properties. It contains high levels of polyphenols which are known to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.
