We have plenty of parking on site and easy access to Wallington Train Station (with direct links to London). Our nearest bus is the 127 which connects Wallington and Purley Train Stations.

What's involved

The area being planted has already been defined with weed barrier.

The Lavender plants will be 18 months old and are ready to be hand planted. They are easily planted with a "dibber" and being pushed in t the soil.

It does involve being on your hands and knees to plant. We will provide gloves and dibbers.

The volunteering event is suitable for all the family.

Refreshments & Thank you

We will provide free refreshments on site (Tea, Coffee and Fruit Squash).

There will be a variety of Free Carshalton Lavender Skincare Gifts available for all volunteers.

Dates

We are waiting to confirm the date as we want to choose a weekend a little nearer the time to ensure nice weather.

Schools

If you would like to get your school involved with our planting, we can arrange a planting session for your school during the week.

Getting out on the field is an idea way to experience nature and understand the growth cycle of not only Lavender but some of our other plants and herbs that are growing at our field.

If you are a parent or School Teacher that is interested, please contact us at support@naturallythinking.eu planting will be from mid March onwards.

Other Events

We will be running a series of Events throughout 2020 at both our Little Woodcote Estate Farm and our Oak Tree Farm.

Please follow our Facebook Page and keep an eye on our blogs for latest developments.

We expect our Lavender Harvest to be the last week of July and we will be carrying out harvests of Peppermint, Chamomile, Rosemary, Sage and Thyme through May, June, July and August
