Using Citriodiol against coronavirus a natural component of Eucalyptus Citradora

Since April 2020 the British Army has been issuing the armed forces with insect repellant. The insect repellent used by the British Army contains Citriodiol.
Citriodiol has previously been associated with protection against Coronavirus (not the COVID-19 strain), however given the safe use of the insect repellent, the army decided to issue the insect repellent in order to provide a possible additional layer of protection, even if not yet proven.
Citriodiol is extracted from Eucalyptus citradora which is naturally rich in Citriodiol and is the key component of the Eulcayptus.
Subsequent research by the Defence scientists found that Citriodiol would provide an additional layer of protection against COVID-19.
Eucalyptus Citradora is a readily available essential oil available to therapists
Euclayptus Citradora is a readily available essential oil and we will be adding this oil for sale on the website from Wednesday 13th January. Whilst more data is required to prove efficacy against COVID-19, we feel that Eucalyptus Citradora is a safe for use essential oil that has been used by aromatherpists for centuries, and would be make a valid addition to our range of oils.
Given a key line of defence in the battle against COVID-19 / Coronavirus is washing hands, we are adding a Citriodiol handwash to our range of handwashes. Using a high level of Eucalyptus Citradora, the hand wash will be rich in Citriodiol. The Citriodiol hand wash will be availabel from the End of January.
