British Sage Essential Oil

Sage grows well in England and has been associated with wisdom and ancient remedies. A perennial herb that normally grows up to 60cm high with a wood base and lovely soft almost sparkling blue/grey/green oval leaves. The flowers are blue to violet. The Romans believed it to be a cure for virtually everything.

Common Uses of British Sage Essential Oil

Sage is a wonderful oil for clarifying the mind. Use during meditation to cleanse the atmosphere and bring clarity to your feelings.

Skin

Sage is useful for reducing redness of the skin and helps balance the skin. Useful when treating seborrhea and Dandruff. One of the key components of Sage, Ursolic acid helps with acne, eczema and skin fungus. Sage is a popular oil for use in cellulite treatments.

Sage had a strong reputation for its healing properties during the middle ages.
