The area around where we grow our Briitsh Peppermint Essential Oil was once prolific with Peppermint essential oil, with a variety still refered to as Mitcham Peppermint grown just a few miles down the road from us.
Post war housing and the constant expansion of London saw the last Peppermint fields disappear early in the 20th Century. When we replanted in 2017, we rekindled the Peppermint growing that once filled the local air with a minty freshness.
Our British Peppermint is grown organically and is the same Mitcham Peppermint variety that once grew in the area.
